Akwa Ibom Extends Curfew By 13 Hours
The Govt of Akwa Ibom has prolonged curfew within the state by 13 hours from 12midday on Friday to 7am on Saturday, 24th October 2020.
The curfew was imposed by Governor Udom Emmanuel, following the violent demonstration that erupted after two individuals suspected to be EndSARS protesters have been shot useless by a suspected safety agent alongside Willington Bassey Approach, Uyo Akwa Ibom State.
The commissioner of Data and Technique, Ini Ememobong, in an announcement on Friday, mentioned the extension was as a result of unfolding occasions and conditions being monitored by the state and safety companies.

This curfew has a statewide impact.
