A suicidal man who was attempting to kill himself in Lagos has been rescued from carrying on with the act.
Vanguard stories that the lads of the Lagos State Emergency Administration Company, LASEMA and the State Police Command on Saturday night, rescued the younger man (names withheld) in an try and commit suicide on Ikoyi-Lekki Hyperlink Bridge, Lagos.
The younger man, it was gathered hails from Anambra State however resides in Ejigbo space of the state.
In line with Director Common, LASEMA, Dr Femi Oke- Osanyintolu, the at about 22:35 hours on 17th October 2020, a suicide case was reported to the company.
“Response was instantly activated to the scene. The company responders had been capable of persuade and rescue the younger man from his jump-off level,” Oke-Osayintolu stated.
It was gathered that after being examined by LASEMA’s Paramedics, he was subsequently handed over to a public-spirited males, Mr J Odukoya and Mr D Okankawon who assured of a dedication to make sure enough remedy and psychological counselling for the sufferer.
“Particulars of the samaritans had been taken by the Response Crew together with the Nigeria Police Officers on scene,” LASEMA boss said.
