ASUU UNICAL Chairman, Dr. John Edor, led the protest from the primary campus in Calabar to the primary gate of the college, the place he addressed the lecturers.

The protesters later moved to the executive block however there was no college official to obtain them.

The lecturers carried placards comparable to ‘Our members dying, save our lives’, ‘Pay our promotion arrears,’ ‘pay our entitlements,’ and ‘Cease selective implementation of promotion’ amongst others.

“Such entitlements embody the educating of GSS Programs, Graduate Thesis Supervision Allowance, CES Programs, Sandwich programmes, Pre-degree and promotion arrears.
