Ganduje Reinstates Media Aide Who Was Suspended For Criticising Buhari
Abdullahi Ganduje, Kano State Governor, has reinstated his media aide who was suspended.
The governor on Wednesday evening, ordered the reinstatement of his Particular Adviser on Media, Salihu Yakasai.
The PUNCH had reported on October 11, 2020 that Yakasai lambasted the President, Main Normal Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), for not addressing Nigerians amid nationwide outrage in addition to days of on-line and offline protests towards the Particular Anti-Theft Squad of the Nigeria Police Pressure.
Yakasai, who tweeted by way of his deal with, @dawisu, had stated the President has no empathy for Nigerians by his inaction.
Reacting in an announcement, the Kano State Authorities had described Yakasai’s feedback as “unguarded utterances” and suspended him “with speedy impact”.
However in a tweet on Wednesday, the state authorities, @KanostateNg, wrote, “H.E Governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje OFR has permitted the reinstatement of his Particular Adviser on Media, Salihu Tanko Yakasai from his suspension.”
Ganduje had in April sacked the state’s Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Mu’azu Magaji, for celebrating the demise of the Chief of Workers to the President, Abba Kyari.
