A lawyer, John-Bede Ofoha, petitioned the Inspector-Common of Police, Mohammed Adamu, over James’ demise and the alleged appropriation of his property by his siblings –Princess and Tochukwu.
He requested the police to analyze the “nefarious actions of Princess Kama and Tochukwu Kama, culminating within the abduction, denial of ample care and publicity to palpable trauma, resulting in the demise of James Kama, thereby exposing his household to untold hardship.”
The petition, dated September 17, 2020, copied the Commissioner of Police, Murder Division, Abuja, was titled, ‘Abduction, false imprisonment, homicide, conversion and risk to life perpetrated towards the late Mr James Kama and his nuclear household by Princess Kama and Mr Tochukwu Kama’.
The widow informed PUNCH Metro on Wednesday that she was prevented from attending her husband’s funeral in Ikon, within the Afikpo South Native Authorities Space of Ebonyi in August 2018, including that Tochukwu and Princess threatened to hurt her if she attended the programme.
