Ibadan Poly College students Protest Forces Administration To Postpone Exams
There was chaos as college students of the Polytechnic, Ibadan protested the shortcoming to register for his or her exams which was earlier mounted for Monday.
All staff each tutorial and non-academic have been prevented from gaining entry into the campus.
When Vanguard visited the establishment, all of the gates have been locked whereas employees and college students have been seen ready endlessly on the gate.
Vanguard gathered that the administration had mounted the examination for Monday however the college students complained that they have been unable to finish their registration course of.
In a press release signed by the Registrar of the Establishment, Mrs Modupe Fawale, she famous that ”The Administration of The Polytechnic Ibadan has suspended the first-semester examination for the 2019/2020 tutorial session earlier scheduled to begin at present, Monday”.
“The examination will now begin on Monday, 19th October with the HND II college students within the College of Enterprise and Communication Research and their counterparts within the College of Environmental Research following the order earlier scheduled.”
“Equally, any pupil caught with a mobile phone and smartwatch might be suspended from the establishment and the supplies might be confiscated.
“College students are anticipated to look at all COVID-19 protocols together with the usage of facemasks. Those that fail to abide shall not be permitted to participate within the scheduled examination.”
