NBA Reacts to Alleged Bloodbath Of IPOB Members By Army In Rivers
Following allegations of genocide by the Nigerian navy in opposition to members of the Indigenous Folks of Biafra in Rivers state, a fact-finding workforce has been setup by the Nigerian Bar Affiliation (NBA).
The NBA on Thursday arrange the fact-finding workforce for Oyigbo in Rivers State on account of reviews of alleged reprisal killing of suspected members of the proscribed indigenous Folks of Biafra (IPOB) by the navy.
The four-man workforce includes NBA lst Vice President, John Aikpokpo-Martins; two former NBA Port-Harcourt department Chairmen, Victor Frank-Briggs and Anthonia Osademe; and a former NBA Ukwa department Chairman, Chimaroke Elie.
In an announcement on his Twitter deal with, NBA President Olumide Akpata, stated workforce the would go to Oyigbo and conduct an inquiry into the occasions within the space,” and the findings revealed.
