Fireplace Razes Bayelsa Mechanic Village, Destroys Items, Automobiles Value N400M
Items value N400 million, autos and several other retailers have been destroyed by a midnight hearth incident on the mechanic village in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
Based on artisans and technicians working within the mechanic village, the fireplace outbreak occurred on Sunday evening at about three am when the merchants had been at their numerous properties.
Although the reason for the inferno couldn’t be instantly established, these doing enterprise within the space have suspected electrical fault as the first trigger that ignited the incident.
A spare half vendor within the village, Stanley Ejike, whose store and items value over N10 million had been burnt by the inferno, nevertheless, expressed gratitude that no life was misplaced.
He mentioned about 13 autos parked on the area for repairs had been burnt all the way down to ashes, including that the incident has triggered hardship to a number of individuals doing enterprise within the mechanic village.
