Three Nigerian Males Arrested In Pakistan For Defrauding Males Of Over $125,000 By Posing As Ladies On Fb
Three Nigerian males have been apprehended in Pakistan for duping residents of Faisalabad of Rs20 million ($125,699.99)
The boys have been arrested on Friday, November 6, after operating a scheme for over a 12 months.
It was gathered that the suspects befriended males on Fb by pretending to be girls and stole their cash.
A case was registered after a person complained that that they had stolen Rs3 million from him. The FIA Cyber Crime Cell is investigating the case.
Explaining the rip-off to reporters throughout questioning, one of many suspects stated they stole girls’s photos off Instagram and made pretend Fb accounts. They then chatted the lads up and ultimately advised the lads they needed to take a position their cash for them.
“We advised them we wish to ship cash to them and want their info, like their identify, tackle and different issues, he defined. We then make a receipt with their identify on it and name him and inform them their parcel has arrived and that they should make a fee in a Pakistani account.” he stated.
