Sadiya Umar-Farouq, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Catastrophe Administration and Social Growth has disclosed that underneath the 2020 Conditional Money Switch (CCT) scheme, a complete of N6 billion was disbursed to poor households in six out of the 14 native authorities areas in Zamfara state.

Talking in the course of the flag off of Grant for Rural Ladies Challenge in Gusau, Sadiya stated the programme was launched to deal with deficiencies in capability and lack of funding within the human capital of poor and weak households.

The Minister stated 130,000 beneficiaries from Anka, Bungudu, Birnin Magaji, Kaura Namoda, Tsafe, and Talata Mafara native authorities areas acquired between N30,000 and N80,000, based mostly on the dates every beneficiary was enrolled into the programme.

She Stated;

On the Grant for Rural Ladies programme, Sadiya stated;

The Minister who famous that these programmes have been launched in keeping with President Buhari’s plan of lifting 100 million Nigerians out of poverty in 10 years, counseled the ladies empowerment initiative of Zamfara Governor, Bello Matawalle, which she famous was worthy of emulation by others.
