“Zamfara Wants SARS Operatives” – Governor Bello Matawalle Says

Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara has disclosed that the state is in dire want of the lately dissolved Particular Anti-Theft Squad (SARS).

Up to now few weeks, Nigerians throughout the nation protested in opposition to the actions of the Particular Anti-Theft Squad (SARS) unit of the Nigeria Police Power.

In response to the protesters, the police unit engages in unlawful detention and killings of harmless Nigerians.

This led to the Inspector Normal of Police, IGP Mohammed Adamu, to disband the unit.

The event doesn’t appear to have gone down effectively with Zamfara state Governor Bello Matawalle, who based on him, the disbanded Particular Anti-Theft Squad (SARS) was important to securing lives and properties in Zamfara state he governs.

He made this know as he addressed newsmen after getting back from a gathering of Northern Governors in Kaduna.

Bello Matawalle, used the chance to name for the deployment of officers of the disbanded police unit to Zamfara.

He Mentioned;
